Nanabah Grace just checked off a milestone most models only dream about. The Diné model and actress walked the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show for the first time on Sunday night, October 18, when the brand brought its famous runway to Los Angeles.
Sunday’s show was the first Victoria’s Secret runway on the West Coast in two years, after the brand returned to New York, and Grace was one of more than a dozen newcomers in a cast packed with familiar faces. Adriana Lima, Candice Swanepoel, Gigi Hadid and Behati Prinsloo all returned, while fellow first-timers included Natalia Bryant and Honey Ordoñez. Megan Thee Stallion, Tate McRae, Megan Moroney and KATSEYE handled the music.

Walking the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show was a milestone for Grace, but she has been building toward it for a while. Over the past few years, she has worked with Ralph Lauren and Maybelline, and her runway résumé spans Ed Hardy and Grace Ling in Los Angeles, Indigenous designer K. Lookinghorse at New York Fashion Week, and Jacquemus’s Spring/Summer 2022 show. Somewhere between castings, she also found time to act, playing Kuttaambo’i, a Shoshone warrior, in Netflix’s 2025 limited series American Primeval.
She also isn’t the first Native model to work with the brand. Celilo Miles, a member of the Nez Percé tribe, appeared in Victoria’s Secret’s 2022 Love Campaign, becoming one of the first Native American models featured in the company’s hundred-year history. A year later, Hän Gwich’in model and activist Quannah Chasinghorse wore archival wings in the brand’s 2023 campaign and appeared in The Tour ’23, the documentary special released while the runway show was on pause. On Sunday, Grace carried that representation onto the main runway.
The night also crowned the winner of the brand’s Angels Among Us casting competition and brought back the Fantasy Bra for the first time since 2018. For Grace, the timing couldn’t have been better. Her biggest runway moment yet happened in the city she now calls home.
