NBC has added four Indigenous actors to its upcoming single-camera comedy pilot set at a Native American community center in Oakland, California. Frankie Quiñones, Eddie Spears, Brian Bahe, and Sienna Tso join the previously announced cast members, including Jana Schmieding, Bobby Wilson, Wes Studi, and Rachel Dratch.
Frankie Quiñones will portray Vince, a devoted girl dad and trusted confidant to Josie (Schmieding) and Bobby (Wilson). Vince is indispensable to the center’s daily operations, bringing heart, humor, and a bit of well-placed gossip. Quiñones is known for This Fool, with recent appearances in What We Do in the Shadows, The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live, and NBC’s St. Denis Medical. His first stand-up special is set to film later this year.
Eddie Spears will play Himbo Lodge, a charismatic flirt with more charm than strategy. Spears’ past work includes Dreamkeeper, Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee, Yellowstone, and Rutherford Falls. This role marks a comedic turn for the veteran actor.
Brian Bahe will play Brian Austin Gleason, the HR lead who takes his authority very seriously—perhaps a bit too seriously. Bahe is currently a writer on CBS’s Ghosts and previously wrote for Fox’s The Great North. He is also a rising voice in stand-up comedy.
Sienna Tso will portray Ashley, a young, no-nonsense maintenance worker who avoids attention and cameras. This pilot will mark Tso’s television debut. She is a graduate of the Native American Media Alliance Writers Seminar and has directed commercial campaigns for Visit California.
The pilot is created by Sierra Teller Ornelas, Jackie Keliiaa, and Bobby Wilson, who also serve as executive producers alongside Morgan Sackett. As previously reported, Teller Ornelas will serve as the showrunner. The project is produced by Universal Television.
