When Prey premiered in 2022, it didn’t just revitalize the Predator franchise; it redefined it. Centering on Naru, a young Comanche woman, the film celebrated Indigenous resilience and ingenuity, proving that stories grounded in authentic cultural experiences could redefine genre narratives AND garner critic and audience praise.

Building on that momentum, Predator: Killer of Killers is set to premiere on June 6, 2025, exclusively on Hulu in the U.S. and Disney+ internationally. This adult animated anthology film, directed by Dan Trachtenberg and co-directed by Micho Robert Rutare, expands the franchise’s scope by exploring warrior traditions from diverse cultures and eras.

The film weaves together three distinct stories:

  • A Viking raider leads her son on a quest for vengeance.
  • A ninja in feudal Japan confronts his samurai brother in a brutal succession battle.
  • A World War II pilot investigates an otherworldly threat to the Allied forces.

Each narrative showcases formidable warriors facing the ultimate adversary: the Predator, an extraterrestrial hunter who sees them as worthy prey.

By spotlighting warriors from different cultures and time periods, Killer of Killers continues the path forged by Prey, emphasizing the universality of strength, honor, and survival. This approach enriches the Predator universe and pays homage to the diverse warrior traditions that have shaped human history.

As the first fully animated Predator film, Killer of Killers uses stylized visuals to bring historical eras and intense action to life in bold new ways. Directed by Prey’s Dan Trachtenberg and co-directed by Josh Wassung of The Third Floor, it is evident that this latest installment of the Predator franchise will pull no punches.

The voice cast includes Lindsay LaVanchy, Louis Ozawa, Rick Gonzalez, and Michael Biehn, and the screenplay comes from Micho Robert Rutare, based on a story crafted with Trachtenberg. It builds on the characters that Jim and John Thomas originally created, with a fresh take that feels epic and intimate.

Prepare for a new chapter in the hunt when Predator: Killer of Killers premieres on June 6, 2025.
