Casting is officially open for Season 2 of the award-winning series North of North, and SG Casting is inviting Inuit actors of all ages, from teens to elders, to audition. While children under 15 are not being cast at this time, Inuit youth younger than that are welcome to submit their information for future opportunities.

No acting experience is required. If you bring curiosity, personality, and a willingness to try something new, you’re already what the casting team hopes to find. This is an ACTRA union production and pays union rates.

Filming Dates & Locations

  • Jan 12 – Feb 13: Toronto

Season 1 introduced audiences to the northern community of Ice Cove and the unforgettable people who bring it to life. North of North follows Siaja, young Inuk mother, rebuilding her life after a very public breakup with the town’s golden boy in their small Arctic community. As she works to redefine herself, she navigates the unpredictable and often hilarious highs and lows of relationships, motherhood, work, and the long road toward finding her own path.

Season 1 is available now on APTN, CBC, and Netflix for anyone who wants to dive into the story before Season 2 arrives.
